1.1 These Website Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Reset Technology Solutions (Pty) Ltd (“Reset”, “we”, “us”, “our”) at www.resetsolutions.co.za and all associated pages and portals (“Website”). 

1.2 Reset Technology Solutions (Pty) Ltd is an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP 53772) regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (“FSCA”) and a registered Credit Provider (NCRCP 18699) registered with the National Credit Regulator (“NCR”) in terms of the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 (“NCA”). 

1.3 By accessing or using this Website you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website immediately. 

1.4 Reset reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The amended Terms will be published on the Website. Continued use of the Website after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. 

 

2. Services

2.1 The Website provides information about and access to Reset’s financial technology solutions, which include: 

  1. Consolidation loan products – credit facilities provided through Reset’s registered credit partners and accessed via employer salary deduction through the Reset Automated Deduction Management Platform (“ADMP”); 
  1. Financial wellness platform – educational and wellness tools accessible via mobile application, including financial literacy modules, budgeting tools, and home loan calculators; 
  1. Debt review removal facilitation – assistance with settling outstanding debt and removing debt review status, subject to all applicable legal requirements. 

2.2 Information on the Website is for general information purposes only and does not constitute financial advice as defined in the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002 (“FAIS Act”). Nothing on the Website constitutes a credit agreement or a commitment to provide credit. 

2.3 All credit products are subject to a separate application and approval process, affordability and credit assessments under the NCA, and the execution of applicable credit agreements. 

 

3. Eligibility and User Obligations

3.1 You may only use this Website if you are at least 18 years of age, legally capable of contracting under South African law, and lawfully present and employed in South Africa. 

3.2 You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the NCA, FAIS Act, POPIA, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”), and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”). 

3.3 You must not use the Website to engage in fraudulent or unlawful conduct, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, upload malicious code, reproduce or exploit any part of the Website without written consent, or impersonate any person. 

 

4. Financial Services and Credit Disclaimer

4.1 Reset is an authorised FSP (FSP 53772) and renders financial services in accordance with the FAIS Act and the applicable Codes of Conduct. Financial services are only rendered by appropriately authorised and competent representatives. 

4.2 Nothing on this Website constitutes a guarantee of credit approval. All applications are assessed individually against the NCA’s requirements, including the affordability assessment and credit bureau checks. 

4.3 Interest rates applicable to Reset’s credit products are variable and linked to the South African Reserve Bank repo rate, subject to the maximum prescribed rate under the NCA. Full rate disclosure is provided in the pre-agreement statement and quotation before any credit agreement is concluded. 

 

5. Personal Information and Privacy

5.1 Reset is a responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”). All personal information submitted through this Website is processed in accordance with Reset’s Privacy Policy, which is available on this Website and forms part of these Terms. 

5.2 By submitting personal information through this Website you consent to it being processed for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.
